春風鋪開宣紙
陽光研磨著遠山的積雪
狼群揮舞狼毫
在草原上隨意涂抹著

With vernal breeze spreading rice  paper
Sunshine lapping accumulated snow on the distant mountains
Wolves wield their hair brushes
Daubing on the grassland randomly
When night lowers its head
Within dreams and without
It  always has a pair of eyes that would never close even at death

這么美的夜色
都在江水里泡著
夢一樣
我只撈起半塊月亮
掛在枝頭
讓風慢慢吹干

Ankang

Such a beautiful night
Is all soaking in river water
Like a dream
I only scoop up half a moon
And hang it on a branch
To let wind dry it up little by little

Laba Festival

Temple of Heaven

經過了
饑餓、干旱、戰爭
經過了一個又一個朝代的興衰
人間那些破事都與它無關
風吹雨打
教會了沉默

Ginkgo

Famine, drought and war Having undergone
The rise and fall of one dynasty after another
It has nothing to do with all the lousy stuff in the world
With wind blowing and rain slashing
It has learned to be reticent
Wearing a golden cassock
It has swallowed the burning incense of the Hundred-Pagoda Temple
One bite at a time  
Thus swallowing a time of a thousand years

落葉為大地把脈
天空掛滿吊瓶
一場雨
擊退了霧霾的圍剿
爐火溫暖著一堆往事
風咬住幾根枯枝
啃了一夜

Winter Rain

Fallen leaves feel the pulse of the earth
Suspending dripping bottles hang all over the sky
A rainfall
Has repelled the encirclement and suppression by haze
A stove fire is warming a pile of past events
The wind has been gripping several dead branches in its teeth
Gnawing a whole night

沒有靠山，沒有背景
像一個無依無靠的人
獨自站在黃昏
前不著村后不著店
人間是一望無際的戈壁
抬頭只見路過的云朵
苦命的日子
被暮色一口氣吞下
又被黎明吐出

Red Willow

Without backers, without background
Like a miserable man
Standing alone at dusk
Ahead, there are no villages  Behind, there are no inns
The whole world is a boundless Gobi
Looking up, it can only see clouds floating by
The miserable days
Are swallowed in one big gulp by dusk
After which they are spat out by dawn
