身手非凡壯國威。

蓉寶燃紅天府色，

五湖爭戰(zhàn)閃春暉。

Seven-colorDyeing in Chengdu

Sunbirdssing and together the young athletes fly,

StrongChina’s dignity is displaying skills high.

CityChengdu’s burning the Heavenly Torch, aye,

Youthfrom five lakes compete and flash in the heat day.

鷓鴣天?贊世界大學(xué)生運(yùn)動會

世界之鷹大學(xué)生，

劍芒閃耀蜀都城。

且看竟艇飛花浪，

高矚爭籃入宿星。

擎蓉寶，倍精英。

熊貓佩戴健兒名。

青羊廬頂紅旗蕩，

正是中華火炬聲。

PartridgeSky ? Ode to the World University Student Game

Eaglesof the world, students come to vie,

Thesword shines in the capital of Shu.

Watchthe splashing boats boldly rush and fly,

Visionon basket holds the stars of blue.

Liftup treasures, by elites of this Age.

Herepandas are famous as athletes' names.

Thered flag waves on poet Du Fu's cottage,

Wehear the sound of the Chinese torch flames.

俯仰太陽鳥，

化作白龍懸。

浣花身置元素、

蝴蝶柱其間。

聚力青春耿耿，

鏖戰(zhàn)成都凜凜，

虎背賽詩箋。

武術(shù)紅飛念，

山水綠屯田。

燃圣炬，

展國夢，

亮奇觀。

體操驚艷、

逐鹿熱血躍雄關(guān)。

合唱童披七彩，

開幕星盈九格，

好讓健兒旋。

蓉寶一團(tuán)火，

天府五湖筵。

Martialarts waft among the red and yellow seen,

Mountand water with field of the green.

Lightthe holy torch bright and strong,

Wakeup the nation’s dream for long,

Showthe wonders marvelous.

Amazinggymnastics gorgeous,

Chasethe deer, leap the grand pass.

Children’schorus in colorful dress,

Inthe Opening Ceremony in myriad styles stars shine,

Theathletes can well spin in performance fine.

Hugeflame lit in Chengdu city, glorious it makes,

InHeavenly Mansion let’s feast guests from the Five Lakes.
