一條河
一條蛇蛻下的皮
穿過村旁的玉米地
打小就沒見過一滴水
卻背著河的名聲
欺騙了一座又一座橋
A River
The skin sloughed off a snake
Runs through the cornfield near the village
Never has it seen a drop of water since birth
But been bearing the title of a river
And deceived one bridge after another


深 夜
風(fēng)趴在門縫
不停地喊
我像一只膽小怕事的烏龜
把頭縮進冰冷的殼
一想起故鄉(xiāng)，我不敢抬頭
把窗外的月亮多看一眼
Deep Night
Wind crouches on the door gaps
Howling ceaselessly
I am like a timid tortoise
Retracting its head into the cold shell
Once I think of my hometown, I dare not look up
To take one more glance at the moon beyond the window

相 思
夜深到井底
寂寞被一把轆轤
越纏越緊，淚已哭干
月光把相思一針一針地
注入身體
一條揪不斷的紅線
攪起一桶往事
吊在半空
Lovesickness
Night sinks deep to the bottom of the well
Loneliness bound by windlass
Tighter and tighter; tears run dry
Moonlight injects love sickness, shot by shot
Into the body
An unbreakable red line
Stirs up a bucket of memories
And hangs it in midair

可可西里
云彩像棉花
一朵、一堆放肆地
盛開著
抬頭突然會撞見
成群結(jié)隊的野驢或黃羊
孤零零的電桿上
鷹占有著各自的巢穴
走了大半天
玉珠峰還站在老地方
不停地招手
Hoh Xil (Kekexili)
The clouds are like cotton blossoms
In puffs or piles
Wildly bloom in full
Looking up, I suddenly run into
Flocks of wild donkeys or gazelles
On a lonely wire pole
Eagles occupy one each their own nests
I have been walking most of the day,
Yuzhu Peak is still standing at the same spot
Waving nonstop

白 露
落單的大雁
把一聲鳴叫丟在黃昏
一條舊毛毯
捂不住夜的冰冷
思念如風(fēng)
一陣比一陣更急
忍不住的淚爬上草尖
像無數(shù)雙眼睛
盯著我
White Dew
A stray wild goose
Leaves a song to the dusk
An old blanket
Can't stop the chill of the night
Longing is like wind
One gust stronger than the last
The tears beyond control creep to grass tips
Like numerous eyes
Staring at me

經(jīng) 堂
殿堂像在金粉里泡了一夜
從頭到腳都是新的
幾尊佛也是新的
掛在墻上的唐卡
堆在案頭的一摞經(jīng)書很舊
和尚只管低頭念經(jīng)
風(fēng)從門縫溜進來
撲通一下
跪在佛前
The Sutra Hall
The hall seems soaked in gold powder all night
Brand new from head to toe
Several figures of Buddha are also new
Thangkas hung on the wall
And the sutras stacked on the desk are rather old
Monks just bow their heads and chant
Wind slips in through the door
And plops
Before the Buddhas

卓 瑪
她一只手抓住一只奶頭
動作嫻熟而麻利
老牛一動不動地站著
把昨夜做過的夢
從胃里一點點翻出來
嚼一嚼，又咽下去
歌聲快要從木桶里溢出來的時候
太陽才慢慢地升起來
Drolma
She grabs one tit with each hand
Fast and facile
The old cow, standing still
Draws the dream it dreamt last night
Out of its stomach, and little by little
Chews, and then swallows it
Until her singing almost spills out the wooden barrel
The sun doesn't start its slow rising

清明節(jié)
一摞一摞地掏出
這些千元、百元、十元的紙錢
一張一張地數(shù)，一張一張地?zé)?br /> 可以買一頭牛、幾只羊
一大群雞，鄉(xiāng)下的日子就得這么過
可以添幾件衣服，抓幾副中藥
挖掉哮喘的病根，如果還有結(jié)余
就割上幾斤瘦肉，打一壺酒
沒事時抿上幾口
Tomb-Sweeping Festival
Taken out one pile after another
These 1,000, 100, and 10 Yuan notes
Are counted and then burned one by one
Enough to buy a cow, a few sheep, and
A flock of chickens; that's the life in the country
Have some clothes, fill the prescribe of herbal medicine
Eradicate the asthma. If there's more left
Cut a few catties of lean meat, get a pot of wine
And take a few sips at leisure
