青 海
我以為是海
一個又一個浪花
被風舉起
以云的形狀堆向天空
常年不化的雪
掩蓋了
一層比一層更厚的寂寞
石頭一語說破
人間悲喜

Qing Hai
I think it is a sea
One spoondrift after another
Is lifted by the wind
And heaped towards the sky in the shape of clouds
The snow not melting over the years
Covers
Layers of loneliness, one thicker than the one before
With a single utterance, the stone reveals
The joys and woes of the human world

老 腔
喊,跳,踢,踏,拍
一個土得掉渣的詞
從喉嚨眼蹦出來
被幾個喝西北風長大的男人
掄起的梆子
一下
砸進電視
濺起八百里風塵

The Old Opera Tune
With yelling, jumping, kicking, stepping, slapping
A crumbling rustic word
Leaps out from the throat
And was pounded into the TV
With the clappers
Swung by a few men raised on northwestern wind
One strike
Splashes up the dust eight hundred miles  

飲 酒
咬開瓶蓋
倒出一條河
或者只是一片湖
一群人站在岸邊
圍觀著，一個靈魂
被渾濁的浪花卷起
又輕輕地放下
像一片葉子
在人間，沉浮

Drinking
Biting off the bottle cap
And pouring out a river
Or only a stretch of lake
A group of people stands on the bank
Gathering around to watch, a soul
Rolled up by the muddy sprays
And then put down gently
Like a leaf on earth
Going through, ups and downs

雪 花
雪落故鄉
母親的墳頭
長出幾棵紙做的搖錢樹
老屋披麻戴孝
跪在村口
風捏著一把嗩吶
吹了一夜

Snowflakes
Snow falls on my hometown
On the mount of my mother's grave
Where a few paper-money trees grow out
The old house shrouded in mourning
Kneels at the gateway to the village
Holding a Suona*, the wind
Blows all night long


減 肥
給一頭豬增肥
讓它在磨光的刀刃下
變成一盤紅燒肉
我們狼吞虎咽地吃下去
摸摸鼓起的肚皮
開始減肥
把躲藏在脂肪里的饞
一點一點
擠出來

Losing Weight
Let a pig put on weight
And under a whetted blade
Turn into a plate of braised pork
We gobble it down
Touching our plump belly
We start to lose weight
Squeezing out
Bit by bit
The glutton hidden in the fat

老 樹
砍掉枝葉間隱藏的
幾聲鳥鳴
抱緊一把故土
背井離鄉
沒頭沒腦地
站在城市的街頭
像一群孤魂野鬼
從咬緊的牙縫
擠出一點綠

The Old Tree
Chopping off the twitters
Hidden in the branches
Holding tight a handful of native soil
I left my homeland
Aimlessly
I stand on the city street
Like those wandering ghosts
From the clenching teeth
Squeeze out a little green

去西安城最大的書店
挨個柜子找了半天
才發現
李白、莎士比亞、泰戈爾
一聲不吭地
坐在不起眼的角落
發呆
我立馬送去一副撲克
并教會他們斗地主

Poets
In Xi'An's largest bookstore
Searching for hours through every shelf
I found, in the end
Li Bai, Shakespeare, and Tagore
Sitting in silence
In an inconspicuous corner
Idling
Right away, I gave them a pack of cards
And taught them the game of Downing the Landlord

蘭 州
瘦弱的身子
從大山的夾縫里站起
滿面風塵
釘在歷史的風口
水車搖醒沉睡百年的夢
一碗牛肉面
扯出一個遠方

Lan Zhou
Its emaciated body
Stands up from the crevice of mountains
Covered in full dust
And is nailed at the pass history blasts through
The waterwheel turns awake the hundred-year-old dream
A bowl of beef noodles
Drags out a distant place


臘 梅
俏皮的陽光
在冬天的額頭輕輕吻一下
梅花就開了一朵
又一朵
被興善寺的香火插滿枝頭
木魚翻開發黃的經書
一陣風說露了
我曾經許下的愿

Wintersweets
A soft kiss the naughty sun plants
On winter's forehead
Brings wintersweets to blossoms, one flower
After another
Branches filled with the pilgrim incense of Xingshan Temple
The temple block turns open the yellowed sutras
A gust of wind blurts out
The wishes I made

往 事
月光撥動著門栓
往事一側身
溜了進來
像一只彩色的蝶
落在夢里
不停地扇動著翅膀
卻不肯飛走

The Past
Moonlight twiddles the door bolt
The bygone, moving sideways
Sneaked in
And like a colorful butterfly
It alights in my dream
Flapping ceaseless its wings
Refuses to fly away

重 逢
夕陽咳出
布滿血絲的寂寞
暮色連皮帶肉
一口吞下一座城市
風追著走遠的往事
連闖一路紅燈
我懷揣一封舊書信
在夢里
與你重逢

With You Again
The setting sun coughs up
Bloodshot loneliness
Dusk swallows flesh and skin
A city, in one gulp
The wind chases the far-gone past
Running red lights all the way
I hold an old letter in my chest
In dreams
Meet with you again

殺 豬
刀子捅進去時
我會故意把頭扭過去
假裝看遠處的風景
只有吃肉時
不管紅燒，清燉，爆炒
從不挑肥揀瘦
甚至拿一塊豬蹄
也會啃上半天

Butchering the Pig
When the knife stabs in
I turn my head away deliberately
Pretending to watch the distant scenery
When I eat meat
Regardless braised, stewed, or stir-fried
I'm never picky about it being fat or lean
Even a cut of pig's feet
Can last me a while

窗 花
女人用一把剪刀
從紙里叫出那只鳥
扇動著翅膀
輕輕落在窗花上
不停喊著一個人的名字
男人不回
它就不肯飛走

Papercut
With a pair of scissors, a woman
Calls that bird out from the paper
Who, flapping her wings
Alights gently on the papercut
Calling a man's name ceaselessly
As long as the man is not back
She would not fly away
